Jackey Folz
Mrs. Kentucky United States 2009 Jackey Hargrove was born May 7th, 1966 in Christian County, Kentucky being the fourth of five girls. As a child she found school a great challenge. It wasn’t until later in her adult life that she discovered that she was dyslexic which explained her hardship in learning. Jackey married young which took her to Charleston, South Carolina where she volunteered with the American Red Cross at the Charleston Naval Dental Clinic learning dental assisting. When returning to Kentucky in the early 1990’s she not only worked in dentistry she also worked with her parents at their BBQ restaurant learning business management and catering. Jackey is a wife to Daniel Folz of ten years and a mother to five children. She currently works as a Business Improvement Manager and is a part time Missionary in Central America where she teaches the love of Jesus Christ and works in oral surgery.
