Michele Strom
Mrs. Nebraska United States 2009 Whether it is reading a book to her children or speaking to an audience, Michele Strom is always seeking to make a difference in the lives of the people around her. By partnering with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, she has been passionately involved in raising awareness for breast cancer research. Michele is particularly proud of her partnership with the Maverick hockey team at the University of Nebraska Omaha where her involvement recently raised $21,300 for this worthy cause. Prior to her professional life, Michele earned an athletic scholarship in gymnastics to the University of Denver. After graduating, Michele spent several years as a sales award leader in the pharmaceutical industry. She currently is an Executive Regional Vice President of a health and wellness company and also owns a women’s clothing boutique. She and her husband of 7 years, Colin, have two beautiful children, Emma and Ethan.
