Mrs. New Mexico United States - 2019

Ester Cobb

“Heels Down: Bringing horses and people together to heal and empower." Currently am advocating for Thoroughbred Athletes, Inc (TBA), an organization that rescues former racehorses from the kill pens. Volunteers at the TBA farm, many of whom are teens who would not otherwise have access to horses, rehabilitate and train the horses until they are deemed adoptable. Heels Down recently made a $500 donation to TBA, raised from personal funds and in part via social media posts. Have been involved with TBA since 2009 by competing in and supporting their Benefit Horse Shows. Future plans for my platform are to continue to fundraise and advocate for TBA, as well as for Equine Assisted Therapy Programs of all types and to reach out to groups that are involved in conservation of the Wild Mustangs in New Mexico.
