THIS PAGEANT WILL BE HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CLENDENIN HOMECOMING FESTIVAL PAGEANT.

2020 Clendenin Homecoming Festival Pageant/ Metro Valley WVUS Regional Pageant

Elkview Middle School Auditorium
Admission to the public: $5 for students, $8 for adults

Divisions: Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Mrs., Ms.

Applications must be submitted ONLINE ONLY
www.clendeninhomecomingfestival.com, click the Royalty Tab, choose your division, scroll down the page until you see the online submission.  Do not print or download form.  Make sure that you see a "thank you for submitting" message or your application did not go through. 

Pageant open to residents of West Virginia and United States citizen.

Winners may compete at the state level pageant of their choice and we are a WVAFF member. Winner has the choice of a cash option or payment to state pageant. We will also be crowning West Virginia United States Metro Valley Regional titles are this pageant. One pageant but a chance at two titles!

There will be 4 phases of competition:

Interview- the judge’s panel will meet with each contestant for a private interview. Interview will last up to 3 minutes per contestant. The basic tool for conducting this interview is your fact sheet. The judges may use their own questions but the majority will be based off you fact sheet.
Personal Sense of Style-contestants have the opportunity to express their own style and personality through fashion.
Evening Wear- should be a floor length gown and age appropriate.
On-Stage question- Fishbowl question.

Schedule of Events:

11 am. Contestants arrive for registration
11:30am. Orientation/Rehearsal
2:00pm Contestants prepare for interviews
2:30pm Interviews will begin
4:00pm Lunch
6:00pm Doors open to the public
7:00pm Pageant begins

*Contestants are allowed one person in the dressing room to help them get ready. Pageant will be held at the Elkview Middle School auditorium. Directions will be provided in the welcome letter sent before the pageant. Dressing rooms will be provided but outlets and mirrors are limited so please feel free to bring power strips and mirrors of your own.
